Kumasi Enterprise Identity System

- BRANDING AND COMMUNICATIONS
POSITION established a visual identity system for a growing enterprise network in Kumasi, supporting consistent commercial presentation across branches, documents and supplier-produced materials.
The challenge
The enterprise network had expanded through branches and related ventures, each commissioning materials independently. Customers encountered inconsistent naming, signage and document presentation, while suppliers interpreted the identity without clear production standards. The issue extended beyond visual consistency: unclear hierarchy made it difficult to distinguish the parent organisation, operating businesses and individual locations. Management needed a system that local teams could apply reliably within everyday procurement and communications.
Our approach
POSITION defined an identity architecture before developing typography, colour, layout and naming applications. The system was tested against branch signage, quotations, invoices, uniforms and digital communications rather than presentation mock-ups alone. Templates included practical rules for co-branding, mandatory business information and local contact details. Supplier specifications and an approval process supported implementation, while staff guidance explained which elements were fixed and which could accommodate operational variation.
The result
The network adopted an identity system that made organisational relationships and commercial documents more consistent. Branch teams could prepare routine materials without inventing new layouts, and suppliers received usable specifications for production. The parent identity became recognisable without erasing legitimate differences between businesses. Governance moved beyond ownership of design files to include naming decisions, template maintenance and responsibility for approving exceptions across the growing network.
